About

I have been known to: play the violin, play the piano, sing, write fiction, write engineering reports, write software, design things, volunteer for Engineers Without Borders, and make cringe-worthy puns.

I have many interests, including: fractals, chaos theory, fluid mechanics, olfaction, how people work together, entrepreneurship, urban planning, architecture, creativity, design, systems design engineering, musical comedies, shakespeare, composing, classical music, jazz, structure in music, beauty in mathematics, science fiction, international development, food, gardening, and whatever else catches my fancy.

I live in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.

The name of my website, Strange Attractor, refers to a concept from chaos theory.
